ribbon means that you can compete for Winners.
Reserve Winners (purple & white ribbon) means you are second
place,
there are no points unless the Winner is
disqualified.
Match wins, Group wins from Puppy, Amateur Owner
Handler or Bred by Exhibitor have no points and do not help
to obtain a championship!
The purpose of
Dog show
conformation events are to evaluate breeding
stock. The dog's conformation, structure, temperament and overall
appearance, is judged against the breed standard. It is an
indication of the dog's ability to produce quality puppies! |
